Here are are a few things I've made from scratch on the computer. I started making computer graphics in 2003 using a great, affordable program called Paint Shop Pro 7; this version dates back to 2001 but remains one of my favourites. It combines vector and bitmap graphics and with a little imagination, some great results can be achieved.

Nowadays I use almost exclusively Serif DrawPlus X4 - a powerful vector drawing program that is intuative to use and gives the overpriced market leaders in this field some very stiff competition. When drawing with this program, I use a Wacom graphic tablet - the two combined make the creation process so quick and easy. I can't recommend these tools enough!

This is something I've made with Serif DrawPlus X4 using a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch graphic tablet. It's part of a project I was working on to recreate an old British Railways logo. It was a very time-consuming job but great practice when I was learning the program's tools. Every part of it is made as a vector, meaning it can be infinitely modified with no loss in detail, resolution or sharpness - no 'jaggies' with vectors!
